mina is an iranian-american meme artist, writer, breathwork facilitator, reiki master, and vibe curator from los angeles, now living in bushwick with her partner, dog, and cat. she has been doing this work since 2016 and sees private clients, teaches reiki-infused breathwork circles online, guides reiki trainings, as well as hosts monthly events at maha rose, and other spaces across brooklyn, including ones that pair breathwork and reiki with other art forms, and end with playful community hangs.
mina's event, "conscious clubbing," is making its way into the party scene, offering us the "third thing," to bring intentionality to the dance floor. she also hosts monthly breathwork loft parties with her partner, jacob, aka unhinged, famously known by his meme page @unhinged_in_bk (which is how they met!)
outside of meme creation, and facilitating sessions and events, mina (ofc a gemini) has dabbled in co-writing a TV show with bianca malinowski, author of “good girl,” and is now working on her own book. she is interested in pretty much every form of art, and will probably explore those, too, if time allows!
mina values non-rigidity, authenticity, and an ever-evolving, growth-mindset with gentle flow and grace. clients would describe her as genuine, warm, and able to hold big space.
